Dundalk Credit Union Student Innovation Fund Launch

Encouraging students to look at starting a business is all well and good, however, being able to provide some seed capital or financial assistance to promising projects would fill a component that has been missing from the programme up to now.

StudentEnterprise@DkIT in Association with Dundalk Credit Union have developed a Business Innovation Fund valued at €15,000. Successful Projects will receive a voucher of €600 (or exceptionally €1000) for prototyping,
market research, etc.

This initiative was launch on Wednesday 4th of March at 4:30pm in the Regional Development Centre

Applications will be invited from April next and it is expected that most applications will be received from September onwards. The fund is open to ALL undergraduate & post-graduate students from all Schools at DKIT.

Along with the Student Enterprise Intern Programme ,the fund is seen as critical to the successful promotion of an Enterprise Culture amongst our Student population here at DKIT.
